"Hello, class! I’m your new Care of Magical Creatures teacher, Professor Kyle Goodwin. Please just call me Professor Goodwin though. Your first lesson with me will be on dragons. In the next few lessons, we will go further into dragons and their kinds, but for now, we will just learn about them. After every few lessons we will have a quiz or test. They will not be hard! I suggest you write the answers to every question a separate sheet of parchment before sending your pretest to me. These will be good references for the tests. These tests are worth it! They will be worth a good amount of points for your house. You can write down the answers on your parchment any way you would like, as long as I will know what you are talking about. I’m looking forward to a great term!"
"I decided to teach you all about dragons for my first lesson because they are very fascinating creatures. Dragons are probably the most common talked about magical beast because of them being so dangerous. Dragons may be dangerous, but they have been proven to be very useful because of their hide, blood, heart, liver, and horn. Dragons, as you already know, breathe fire. Their weak spot, apart from their heart, is their eyes. Dragon eggs are classified as Class A Non-Tradable Goods, and dragons also have a M.O.M classification of XXXXX. There are ten breeds of dragons, which are the Antipodean Opaleye, Chinese Fireball, Common Welsh Green, Hebridean Black, Hungarian Horntail, Norwegian Ridgeback, Peruvian Vipertooth, Romanian Longhorn, Swedish Short-Snout, and Ukrainian Ironbelly. And does anyone know what is the most dangerous dragon?"

Lauren gazed at her teacher as she jinxed her quill to write down everyword Professor Goodwin said. When she heard the question her hand shot into the air her blue eyes blazing.

Professor Goodwin gazed at Lauren as he murmered "Yes, Lauren what is the answer? Antipodean Opaleye, Chinese Fireball, Common Welsh Green, Hebridean Black, Hungarian Horntail, Norwegian Ridgeback, Peruvian Vipertooth, Romanian Longhorn, Swedish Short-Snout, or Ukrainian Ironbelly? "

Lauren's blue eyes glowed, for she knew the answer. Her pretty brown hair swayed as she turned her gaze to her teacher. "THe most dangerous is the hungarian horntail," she explained. This was a fun class for her because she loved animals.

"Yes the answer is Hungarian Horntail. Very good Lauren, five points for Gryffindor," Professor Kyle Goodwin said. "And everyone get out a piece of parchment and write down the following questions; Why are dragons useful? How many breeds of dragons are there? What are the dragon names? What class Non-Tradable Eggs are they? Then answer them and trun them into me," He said to his class.

Hermione entered the class hurriedly. "Sorry, Professor Goodwin," she said, breathing hard. She had run all the way from her dorm down to class in less than five minutes. "I'll catch up, I hope I didn't miss anything good..." she said, looking as if she were about to cry.

"It's fine Hermione," Professor Kyle Goodwin said. Then he hurried to his bookself and grabed a book, and walked back to where Hermione was sitting. "Here, read pages 23 through 29. That will tell you everything. Then get out a piece of parchment and write down the following questions; Why are dragons useful? How many breeds of dragons are there? What are the dragon names? What class Non-Tradable Eggs are they? Then answer them and trun them into me," he said.

Hermione's eyes brightened. "I'll do my very best," she said, pulling out an entire roll of parchemnt. "I'll put the questions into an essay if I can, I really want to catch up completely. I'll have the report by tomorrow, Professor Goodwin. You won't be sorry," she grinned from ear to ear, her Care of magical Creatures textbook out in front of her to get reading. "I'll turn the report in to you as soon as I finish," she said, getting to work while the class continued their lesson and work as well.

I little while later, Hermione raised her hand. "I'm finished, Professor," she said, waving her paper up in the air. ((Here is Hermione's report. The answers to the questions are bolded.)) Dragons are very dangerous, yet amazing creatures. People fear to get near them because of the danger they could be getting themselves into. But dragons have been proven useful because of their hide, heart, blood, liver, and horn. All ten breeds of dragons are different in some way. These dragons are called the Antipodean Opaleye, Chinese Fireball, Common Welsh Green, Hebridean Black, Hungarian Horntail, Norwegian Ridgeback, Peruvian Vipertooth, Romanian Longhorn, Swedish Short-Snout, and Ukrainian Ironbelly. The most dangerous of all is the Hungarian Horntail. Dragon’s eggs are considered very, very valuable; they are Class A Non-Tradable. Dragon dung is also sold by the barrel in Knockturn Alley, where it is sold and used as composed in Herbology. Here is where you can find more information about dragons: www.hp-lexicon.org/bestiary/dragons.html

Raein sighed and rubbed the feather of her quill of her face as she tried to remember the questions. She sighed again and glanced at the chicken-scratch on her parchment.
1. Why Are Dragons Useful?[/i] 2. How Many Breeds Are There?[/i] 3. What Are There Names?[/i] 4. What Class Non-Tradable Eggs Are They?
Lupin didn't know if they were right, but she decided to go with her instincts and started to scribble reapidly down:
Why Are Dragons Useful?: -Dragons are useful because their horns, hide, blood, liver, and heart is magical. -Dragon-heartstrings are used in some wands. -Dragon-hide gloves are manufactured for acid-like potions.
How Many Breeds Are There?: -There are ten breeds of dragons. But they are the only known. What if there's a cross-species? There could be some unknown breed of dragon that the wizarding community hasn't discovered yet!
What Are The Breeds?: -There is the Chinese Fireball -Swedish Short-Snout -Unkranian Ironbelly -Peruvian Vipertooth -Antipodean Opaleye ?? -Common Welsh Green -Hebridean Black -Romanian... Longhorn? -Norwegian Ridgeback -And Hungarian Horntail (Which is the most deadly and powerful dragon breed.)
And
What Class Non-Tradable Eggs Are They? -Dragon eggs are Class A Non-Tradable items. -THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRADED BY ANY WIZARD, WITCH, WARLOCK, HAG, OR ANY MAGICAL BEING!
The Hufflepuff student cracked her fingers and stretched them. Then Lupin student stood up and walked to Professor Goodwin and held out her notes. "There. Done."
